Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That would round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
